Where to start?
- How to think: This course allows you to focus on how to be observant, how to come up with original ideas, how to make a study plan, how to handle exam pressure and anxiety, and how to approach any question in the exam
- Topicwise videos: Start with topic-wise videos, you will find all the topics covered in this course.
- Use Provided Resources: Make full use of the videos, readings, and supplementary resources provided in the package. They are designed to give you a well-rounded preparation. Every video is followed by assignments and exercises for practice.
- Dedicated modules: Exclusive modules for mechanical ability, spatial ability, practice questions, and other topics.
Go through
- Latest exam brochure for detailed information on the most recent changes in the exam pattern
- Look at previous year's question papers
- Understand the topics from which questions are being asked in the exams
- Make a list of topics and categorize them into three categories: Easy | Moderate | Hard
- Focus on one topic from the Moderate and one from the Hard category every week
- Repeat this till the topics from the ‘Hard’ category move to ‘Moderate’ and topics in the ‘Moderate’ move to the ‘Easy’ category
- Watch videos corresponding to each topic and do the assignments.
- Doing assignments is crucial if you want to improve quickly
- You have access to recorded feedback sessions, it is advised to watch one video every day. This will ensure you are headed in the right direction
- Solve questions from the ‘Practice Questions’ course in your package
- Self-evaluate by comparing your solutions with the ones from feedback recordings and apply the feedback
Things to do Daily
- Daily Sketching: Design exams place a strong emphasis on creativity and sketching skills. Practice sketching daily to improve speed, composition, scale, proportion, and observation.
- Timed Practice: Work on timed exercises and mock tests to improve your time management skills, time each sketch and question you solve, crucial for the exam day.
- Current affairs: Be up to date with the current happenings in India and around the world. In-depth knowledge of everything is not required
- Aptitude Practice: Work on improving your general aptitude and reasoning skills, as these are integral parts of exams like UCEED, CEED, NIFT, and NID.
- Exam Dates and Changes: Keep track of exam dates, application deadlines, and any changes in the exam pattern or syllabus.
- Official Guidelines: Regularly check the official websites of CEED, UCEED, NID, and NIFT for any updates or important announcements.
- Breaks and Relaxation: Don’t forget to take regular breaks. Incorporate activities like meditation, exercise, or hobbies to keep stress levels in check.
- Positive Mindset: Keep a positive attitude. Remember that consistent practice and dedication will lead to success.
What to sketch?
- Start from your surroundings: Your study table, all the rooms in your house along with all the furniture.
- Sketch areas around your house like park, waking areas in your society, markets, supermarkets, milk booths, kiosks, clinics, hospitals, etc
- Draw humans in every sketch. Start by sketching your family members as they do various daily activities
- Include at least 3-4 people in each sketch
- Draw as many contexts as possible, this will increase your visual library
- Include animals in your sketches

- NID & UCEED mock tests are included.
- The uceed mock tests will have 40 questions in Part A and one question in Part B. These mock tests can be attempted four times and have to be solved in 120 mins.
